This guide provides information about supported file formats for creating and uploading knowledge sources for Enjo AI Agents. This also includes other considerations to ensure Enjo AI Agents can maximize understanding of the information in each knowledge source.
Supported File Formats and Recommendations
 1. PDF  files
✅ Extension: .pdf
✅ File Size Limits:
50 MB for system upload.
20 MB for SharePoint & Google Drive upload.
❌ PDF files that include images cannot be processed for text extraction.
 2. DOC files 
✅ Extension: .doc /.txt
✅ File Size Limits:
50 MB for system upload.
20 MB for SharePoint & Google Drive upload.
❌   Doc files that include images cannot be processed for text extraction.
 3. Spreadsheets : 
✅ Extension: .xlsx
✅ File Size Limits:
50 MB for system upload.
20 MB for SharePoint & Google Drive upload.
✅ Row Limit: Each table can include up to 5,000 rows.
✅ Column Limit:
The number of columns depends on the total text size in a single row:
Fewer columns (e.g., 10) if row text is lengthy.
More columns (e.g., up to 30) if row text is concise.
✅ Headers: All columns must have headers for clarity and proper indexing.
❌ Empty rows and columns are not allowed. Ensure all rows and columns contain valid data.
4. Powerpoint Presentations 
✅ Extension: .pptx, .ppt.
✅ File Size Limits:
50 MB for system upload.
20 MB for SharePoint & Google Drive upload.
✅ Content Requirements:
Include ONLY TEXT for optimal processing.
Tables and illustrations/diagrams can be added.
❌ Multimedia content such as images, videos, and animations cannot be processed.
5. Audio Files 
✅ Supported Formats : .mp3, .m4a, .wav.
✅ File Size Limits:
50 MB for system upload.
200 MB for SharePoint & Google Drive upload.
❌ Avoid noisy backgrounds, overlapping speech, or unclear audio to ensure accurate transcription and indexing.
