Enjo allows users to trigger actions in Slack or Teams by adding specific emojis to messages. This feature helps streamline workflows by linking emojis to predefined actions, making it easier for users to interact with the platform.

Configuration Steps

Step 1: Navigate to Enjo Dashboard

  • Log in to the Enjo Dashboard.
  • Select Automation Tools from the navigation menu.

Step 2: Select Emoji Actions

  • In the Automation Tools section, click on Emoji Actions.

  • Choose the relevant Chat App (Slack or Teams) and the Ticketing App (e.g., Jira).
  • Select the appropriate Scope:
    • Workspace: Applies to the entire workspace.
    • Person: Applies to an individual user.
    • AI Agent: The action will be triggered by a specific AI agent.

  • Click Next to proceed.

Step 3: Select Emoji for Action

  • Choose the emoji that will trigger the action (e.g., 🎫 for ticket creation).
  • Define Purpose: Provide a brief description of the emoji action’s purpose.
  • Admin-Only Option: Select this option if the action should be accessible only to admins.

Step 4: Choose the Action Type

Select from the following action types:

  • Create Request
  • Update Request
  • Create Issue
  • Request Issue

Step 5: Decide on AI Agent Defaults or Customization

  • Choose whether to use the AI Agent Defaults for behavior.
  • Alternatively, customize the behavior based on the request type and project.

Step 6: Select Creation Form Requirement

  • Decide whether a creation form is needed when the emoji action is triggered.

Step 7: Click Create

  • Once all configurations are complete, click Create to save the emoji action.
  • The chosen emoji will now trigger the specified action in the selected chat or ticketing platform
