Confluence Server
Enjo Connecting Confluence Cloud to Enjo allows Enjo to index your Confluence spaces and use that content to answer questions through your AI Agent.
Any reference to Confluence DC applies equally to Confluence Server.This guide covers the Confluence Cloud setup.
If you are on Confluence Cloud refer to the Confluence Cloud Guide.
It is recommended to use a service account to integrate with Enjo. For the Confluence Service Account, please take note that Confluence users with the role "User" in the Atlassian User Management and who have access to the relevant Spaces to be indexed can connect the account in Enjo.
To connect Enjo to your Confluence Server account, follow the steps below.
Pre-requisite:
1. Whitelist Enjo IP addresses
Ensure Enjo servers are reachable from your Confluence Server or DC host by whitelisting the following IP addresses:
Before you get started, let us ensure that Enjo Servers are reachable from your Confluence DC/Server host. You will likely have to whitelist Enjo host IP addresses to get started.
For Inbound from Enjo Server(s)
44.228.165.179
For outbound to Enjo Servers (for webhook)
52.33.191.85 443.
2. Confirm account permissions
Make sure the account you plan to use:
Has the User role in Atlassian User Management.
Has access to all Confluence spaces you want Enjo to index.
It is recommended to use a dedicated service account rather than a personal account to keep access and ownership consistent for your organization.
Connection Steps
1. Open Settings and select Apps
From your Enjo dashboard, open Settings and select Apps.
2. Connect a new app
Click Connect Apps and select Confluence Server from the list.
3. Choose an authentication method
Click Add New. You will see two options:
Confluence Server (Basic Auth)
Confluence Server (API Token)
Choose the method that suits your setup. Both options are covered below.
Option A: Basic Auth
4. Enter connection details
Enter a connection name that identifies the source clearly, such as your organization or team name.
Select the visibility for this connection: Workspace to allow all AI Agents access, or Restricted to limit access to specific AI Agents. Click Continue.
5. Enter your Confluence URL
Enter your Confluence site URL. To find it, log in to your Confluence instance in a browser and copy the URL from the address bar.
6. Enter your credentials and authorize
Enter your Confluence account username and password and click Authorize.
Your Confluence Server is now connected to Enjo.
Option B: API Token
6. Generate an API token
Go to your Atlassian account page and create a personal access token. Follow the steps in the Atlassian documentation to generate one.
This takes you to the Atlassian Account Page. Click on the "Create Token" button, provide a token name, and copy the generated token using the copy button on the screen.

Once created, copy the token.
7. Enter your credentials and authorize
Enter your Atlassian account username and the API token you just copied. Click Authorize.
You're Connected
Your Confluence Server or Data Center instance is now connected to Enjo. Enjo will begin indexing the Confluence spaces your account has access to.
