Request Card Customization
Administrators can customize how requests will appear in Slack or Teams.
The following aspects of the request card message can be customized. Request card title The title of the request card usually shows the ticket key, status, and summary. The title type can be changed from status to another field. You can also truncate the summary to consist of only 80 characters by switching on the toggle button given below. Request card attributes The attributes of the request card usually show the project, issue type, assignee, and priority. This can be customized to show other attributes. Notification The notification display message can be customized to standard/ Compact/ Detailed. If the request message is resolved, the request card can be collapsed to only show the title in the channel with the other information in thread. Request card actions The request card displays the following buttons "View", "Change Status" and "Comment". There is also a dropdown after these buttons showing the rest of the actions. These buttons can be customized. Thread sync If thread sync is enabled, it usually contains a footer message mentioning that the Slack/ Teams thread is syncing with the ticketing system, a link to customize the thread sync behavior, and a mention of the reporter. This can be turned on or off using the checkboxes given under the Thread sync tab.
