Google Drive
The Google Drive integration enables Enjo to read and extract data as a knowledge source so your AI Agent can ground responses in Drive content. Enjo authenticates using OAuth 2.0 and indexes connected Drives on a daily sync new or updated files are available to the agent within 24 hours of the next scheduled sync.
Prerequisites
Active Enjo account with admin access
Google account with access to the Drive you want to connect
Internet access with OAuth consent screen enabled for the organization (if applicable)
Permissions
Enjo requests the following OAuth permissions during connection:
Permission | Description | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
drive.readonly | Read-only access to Google Drive data | View and download files, list folders, and read file metadata |
userinfo.profile | Access basic Google profile information | Retrieve user's name, profile picture, and account ID (email excluded) |
Connection Steps
Log in to the Enjo Dashboard.
Navigate to Settings β Apps.
Select Connect Apps, then choose Google Drive.
Click Add New, enter a connection name, and set the visibility:
- All agents β any AI Agent in the workspace can use this knowledge source
- Specific agents β restrict access to selected agents only
Click Next and authenticate using your Google account credentials.
Review and Allow requested permissions for Enjo to access Drive data.
Upon confirmation, Enjo establishes a read-only connection to the Drive account.
You can see your connection under Apps. Eligible Enjo AI Agents in the workspace can now use the Google Drive connection.
