Swarm Rooms
Create dedicated channels in Slack or Teams that sync 2-way with a request.
- All updates and activities from the request will be posted on this channel
- All conversations in this channel will get updated as comments in the request
- Participants, if any, from the request will be automatically added as members of the channel
Set up swarm room triggers for selected projects, with JQL filters and conditions. Whenever the conditions are satisfied, Enjo will automatically create a new channel with the name specified in the ‘New channel configuration’ tab. Users can create multiple swarm rooms with this feature.
Step 1: Go to Enjo dashboard-> Swarm rooms-> Triggers-> +New Trigger
Step 2: Add the trigger name, ticketing system, connection, project, JQL, condition for swarm rooms to be created, platform to create swarm rooms, and workspace. If you have selected, ‘Ticket field is updated’, under the condition to create swarm rooms, choose the field as well.
Step 3: By default, your channel name will be under the syntax @@@jira_issue_key@@@ (eg: itsm-32) but you can change it.
To change the channel name syntax, click on ‘Show channel name syntax’, copy the preferred syntax, and paste it into the field. You can also make the channel private by clicking on the ‘Make channel private’ checkbox.
Step 4: Once the configurations are set, click on the "Save" button.
Access the 'Settings' tab under 'Swarm rooms' to modify the default swarm room behavior.
Choose between two-way sync (bidirectional communication), one-way sync (posting ticket updates to the swarm room), or no sync. Customize which ticket updates are posted to the swarm room, add all ticket participants as channel members, and decide whether to archive the swarm room upon ticket resolution.
As swarm rooms are created based on configured triggers, view them under the 'Rooms' tab within 'Swarm rooms'.
